Quality Management

ISO 9001

ISO 9001 is a QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM on which to build your company. It has a common sense, documented system focusing on consistency, reliability and improving the way your business operates. ISO 9001 focuses on organizational processes, the customer and improvement, and provides guidance on what is required to achieve an internationally recognized standard.

ISO 9001 does not tell an organization how to operate. It gives a company a set of guidelines in which to build an efficient business system with, which if incorporated correctly, will result in a quality product as its end product.

ISO 9001 can be applied to any organization, large or small, whether you are a manufacturer or service provider. The standard has been developed using a core set of eight quality management principles, which act as a common foundation for standards relating to quality management.

These are:
  • Customer focusiso_9001
  • Leadership
  • The involvement of people
  • A process approach
  • A system approach to management
  • Continual improvement
  • A factual approach to decision making
  • Mutually beneficial supplier relationships
