Are you looking for information regarding registration to the latest aerospace standard?
Not sure of what to do or where to go for the latest information?
UPDATE: The AS9104/1 Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defence Quality Management System Certification Programs was released December 2011. This contains requirements for registrars to perform aerospace registrations. Some changes reflected in this update are that lead auditors are now limited to 2 consecutive certification cycles (6 yr) at a clients, audit duration requirement table, how client transfers are to be completed.
ALERT: Due to changes in Aerospace requirements, the home/main office of the Registrar must handle all aspects of aerospace registration for companies.
Though DAC Audit Services cannot provide direct aerospace registration, we can provide companies with information regarding aerospace standard updates, provide training to the standard, and assist in the selection process of an AS registrar. If you require assistance with your aerospace system, its development, or its maintenance, we can direct you to Aerospace Systems Specialists that are independent of our company.
There have been many updates in the last couple years in Aviation, Space and Defense. The AQMS standards AS9100, AS9110, & AS9120 have been updated and released along with the AS9101/2009 (D) QMS Audit Requirements for Aviation, Space and Defense Organization which replaces the current AS9101(C) QMS Assessment Questionnaire.
Suppliers are encouraged to go to the website and download a copy of the Supply Chain Management Handbook (SCMH) which has been published as an E-Book. This handbook has been provided by the IAQG to assist with the advancement of quality practices. Its use is entirely voluntary.
