All of our auditors certified to the current ISO 19011 standard and many also maintain certificate through an accredited agency such as IRCA, RAB. Our auditors have high levels of experience and are matched to your type of industry. We personally match an auditor with your industry.

Auditors are trained to audit to the requirements of the standards, not to personal preferences and to protect the integrity of the standard and perform a very thorough unbiased assessment of your system.

Auditors are often seen as being in a "policing" role rather than in a support role. It is true that one of the components of the audit is to look for compliance with the selected management system standard but the other often ignored component is that of improvement. A certification body is not allowed to consult, but are allowed to identify those areas where the company could improve their activities and operations if they considered alternative ways of controlling the processes. This is an underlying tenet of our audit operations; we would rather make a dozen suggestions and have just one of them result in an improvement rather than make none because of the focus on compliance.

We are not upset if you ignore our suggestions, as you know your own business better than anyone else. We also recommend our clients to "question" us if they feel that we have generated an invalid CAR. We are always happy to explain the validity of any Corrective Actions.

We believe an auditor needs to fit your company. They need to be able to work with you and your employees for many years. You are always given the option to choose which auditor you wish to work with, as long as the auditor has experience in your industry. You may even change your auditor if you do not believe they are a good fit with your company. There would be NO questions asked.

OUR AUDITORS DON’T SEEM TO HAVE A REAL GOOD FEEL FOR MY INDUSTRY?

• This may be due to the fact that they may be too reliant on utilizing a checklist as the true guide for performing an audit. Their familiarity with any given industry is not always strong. DAC ISO Lead Auditors have the skills that allow them to go beyond the dependence on such checklists. They are comfortable in working with YOUR System using a checklist as a tool and not the solution. THEY SHOULD BE ISO SYSTEMS EXPERTS THAT HAPPEN TO BE AUDITORS AS WELL.
